Fancy Kaiya Strikes Again

So my mom got Kaiya what is shaping up to be her new favorite outfit. This girl did NOT want to take that skirt off, so we went outside and took a few pictures.

Kaiya was having one of those days when she would NOT look at the camera.

We have a book where the little girl stops to smell the flowers, and now she wants to smell every thing with a bloom.

I can't decide if the soundtrack behind this picture should be "Eye of the Tiger" or "Chariots of Fire". Jamie says it should be either "Eye of the Fancy Tiger" or "Frilly Pink Chariots of Fire".

I haven't done much playing with colorization in photoshop yet. I thought the strong side light in this one was cute in black & white, but I'm not convinced.

With Gear Like This, Who Wouldn't Want to be a Girl?

Our little "Fancy Nancy"

Yes, there are three piggie tails, and yes they all have bows on them...I asked her if she wanted one piggie tail or two, and she said "three please!" so, what was I supposed to do?

As for the rest of her ensemble, she just brings me things and says, "Help, please!" and when she asks nicely, I don't ask questions, I just help her get them on!
I think the title of this blog entry says it all...

I Love It!

I completely stole this off of a friend's friend's blog, and if I didn't watch too much "What Not to Wear" I would totally want a shirt with this printed on the front.

Perhaps this could be my new motto instead?

Thanks Vicki!!!

So Kaiya, Haylee & I were just hanging out one morning, waiting for Vicki to come pick up a crock pot, when we got a big surprise! When she came, she brought a present for us too!!! Look at these adorable aprons!!! Here are Kaiya and I modeling them...
See the aqua colored buttons on mine? They say "Cute as a Button" on them!!!

Then Kaiya let Haylee model it as well...
I love them! Kaiya absolutely LOVES hers too and wears it at least 5 times a day. Although I don't think it has been tied around her waist more than 2 or 3 times, because unfortunately, that is where, "I do it myself" and "I don't know how to tie a knot" collide. So mostly she wears it around her neck and says "I cooking mommy!" and proceeds to bring me a plethora of oddly paired food. Although sometimes the apron gets turned around backwards and Kaiya becomes Super Grover (one of Kaiya's favorite people).

I love aprons and wear them all the time, so I have had so much fun wearing such a cute one! Thanks Vicki!!!

Twinkle, Twinkle, Fancy Star

Kaiya has recently decided that sometimes she wants to be "fancy". I brought her back a cute little tutu from Canton, and since then she has been wearing it, along with her new favorite sweatshirt (thank you Jen!) every day since then. Today, over the course of the morning, she kept bringing me "fancy" items and asking me to help her put them on, until we wound up with this...
