Well, tonight my parents watched Kaiya while Jamie & I went to dinner and a movie, and when we came back my parents said that she wouldn't go to bed without her shoes on. So dutiful Grandparent that they are they put her brand new tennis shoes on over her footie pajamas. When we came home we found her like this:
Her other shoe is wedged underneath her. Could anybody love a silly girl more?

It's a good thing that she's a girl and will have a ton of shoe options! Boys get the shaft! On the other hand, if she was a boy, she wouldn't care about shoes so much. She would ask to sleep with a sword, gun, or a superhero instead!
Yes, Kaiya is so, so adorable! I'm sure she couldn't be loved more!
But has she started saying "Jan" yet???? Only 34 more days for her to learn it!!
That is so stinkin cute. You need to frame this picture so when she's a teenager with five gazillion shoes she will appreciate her early infatuation!
